Can someone clarify... when using the worksheet linked above to set the level of my sub, should the sub AND main speakes be on, or just the sub?

Also, the instructions say to set the subwoofer amplifier to a "preferred setting." Can someone clarify what this means?

Finally, are the "warble" tones actually supposed to sound "warbly?"

Hi elee,

When doing the measurements, have both the subwoofer and the mains playing.

As for "preferred setting" on the amp, with the VTF subwoofers set the volume knob on the sub to about 9 o'clock, and with the STF or ULS subwoofer, set the volume knob on the sub to about 11 o'clock.

The tones could be described as "warbly" I suppose :)
