I sent Hsu Tech Support this email a couple days ago, but I haven't heard from them. "I have an end-table in a corner next to the couch and the love-seat. Both the couch and the love-seat a leaning agaisnt the back and side wall. I would like to position the VTF3 under the end-table in this corner. However, the end table only has 18" height clearance underneath it. Will the VTF3's sound be affected if it is laid on its side with the driver facing the front and the port facing the back wall?" Has any one position the VTF3 side way? Thanks for your help.

I don't have a VTF3 (is this a Mk2??), but I don't think this would make any noticeable difference. Anyone have any direct experience with something like this?

It should be fine, but that end table will rumble.

Yes, it's a Mark II. Forgot to mention that.
