I assume an MBM in a system will increase the headroom of the sub(s) because it takes the burden of the +50hz sounds away from the main Sub(s).
Is this valid thinking?
Does anyone have an MBM in a ULS-15 single or dual system? If so what are your thoughts?
Finally any projection on MBM's availability?
Thanks
Bill

Absolutely Bill, the MBM-12 can significantly enhance the system, even with single or multiple ULS-15's. I hope that we will have them ready within two months, but I haven't heard any new updates other than the fact that the variable tuning MBM-12 has been green-lighted for production.
Have you tried raising the crossover frequency on your processor to 150Hz to see how well that works with your two ULS's?

YESSSSSSSSSSs! ABSOLUTELY!
With every sub I have tested it, including the very very big 18" A7-450, it has helped a lot.

My cross over is 80 and the LFE is "limited" to 120.
Are you suggesting moving the crossover of 80 to 150?
I want to get one MBM when they are available. I am going to put it directly behind the listening position. It will also be against the wall. Is that OK?

Yes, try setting the subwoofer crossover on the receiver to 150Hz :)
It should be fine to put the MBM there...
