Onkyo 502 Settings

Yesterday I hooked up my Onkyo 502 to my brand new VT-12's and STF-2! Wow! Very impressed with the sound so far! Watching 'Saving Private Ryan' has never been so intense, but I do think that I can get more out of the system as I am a newbie at all of this.

Just wondering what most people with the onkyo 502 use for their crossover setting? I feel like the setting at 80 on the reciever and 90 on the sub (STF-2) seems to work the best. I know each rooms setting will be unique, but what do you all have for your settings at?

Try setting the sub crossover to out and see how that works.

agreed with Dudley...you do not need to use the crossover on the sub if you are using the crossover on the receiver.
