Visit to Hsu

I was in Laguna Beach last week for a wedding and took time for visit to the Hsu office and a very helpful meeting with Pete. I had lots of questions mostly just stupid newbie things but Pete was patient and demonstrated enthusiasm that was much appreciated on a Saturday AM. I received my Enthusiast 3 system a couple of months ago when it appeared that our family room remodel was about done. Of course it is now almost done and the equipment is being moved in--finally. This long weekend should take care of the install and I will post some shots of the final result. Thanks Pete for the informative meeting and a remarkably cheerful attitude! Norv

OK making progress, all the speakers are connected and the TV, cable box, Blu Ray, and receiver are playing nice with each other. Unfortunately the setup mike was not included with the Onkyo TX SR 876 so I haven't made any sound adjustments. Onkyo hopefully will send one soon. Even so the sound is very good, the bass is clean and the voices are life-like. I have wires running all over the room so the speakers can be placed optimally before properly hiding them. So far expectations are exceeded. Norv
