Anyone on Oahu interested in an audition? I'm looking for the HB-1 MK2 but would be interested in listening to any other HSU products.
All I have to offer is a STF-1 that I just picked up but I think it rocks! Amazingly clean and tight bass from just an 8" driver.

I'm thinking of buying one of their systems, but am wondering about shipping. How much was it to ship the speakers?

i paid $80 for shipping to honolulu for the stf-1 via USPS priority. pete gave me a shipping quote for a pair of hb-1 mk2s at $90. not sure if parcel post is an option. i'm guessing enthusiast 1 would be almost $400.
what are you using now?

Wow! $400 for shipping is crazy... oh well, price we pay for living in Hawaii...
Right now? I have a crappy HTIB Infinity package from the former Circuity City. I've been looking around for a while, but just couldn't find anything I liked.
Came across HSU because of their subwoofers, and figured I'd try out their bookshelves since they're so affordable. I can always replace them in the future if I want something better (more $$$expensive$$$), right?
What are you running?

I recommend their subs and the shipping fee is well worth it considering what you can get at Best Buy.
I think you should buy it so that I can listen to it. Haha, please!
I have a few sets of speakers. Just some entry level PSB, Klipsch, B&W, and Mirage. Used to have Def Tech and Infinity also. I like Onkyo but also have NAD and HK. Right now I'm more into music than HT.

Sorry haven't responded for a month. Been so busy at work and the kids that it's kept me from research and responding to forums. Well, the good thing is that work brings money for speakers =P
How'd you like your PSBs? Entry level meaning Alphas? I was originally going with PSB T-55s, but just couldn't spend the money for them since I don't have a matching center. That's why I was going to buy the full set of hsu speakers. Figured I'd get the whole set and save myself some trouble instead of piecing my set together... I tend to go overboard, if you know what I mean.
Seems there are too few of us in Hawaii interested in speakers. I guess it's just too hard to get quality stuff here without breaking the bank. Thanks for your help thus far!

I really like my PSB Image1b. I'm still temped to give the HB-1 a try but I'm waiting for a special. I'm also temped to get another STF-1 to run dual but I think I'll save up for a MBM and VTF combo instead. However, I'm trying to resist the upgrade urge because I'm fairly satisfied with what I have now.
If your kids are at the Disneyland age then you can stop by the HSU showroom on the way.
