Greetings!
i just got a new VTF3- mk3! w/ turbo unit!

i have one question about setting up the ports.

im confused on the back of the amp it says (switch up) for 18HZ OR 1 port plugged..
does that mean running the turbo with 1 or no plugs in for the 18HZ?

what about for the 25Hz setting? (using the turbo)

i guess basicly what are the effects using the turbo plugged or unplugged?
any damage as mentioned in the manual?

Congrats rolling, and welcome to the forum!

There are two different ways to get maximum deep bass extension from the VTF-3 MK3:

1) Install the Turbocharger, and do not plug any ports on the subwoofer

or

2) Remove the Turbocharger, and plug one port on the subwoofer


So the 18Hz bass extension switch can be used in either of these two scenarios.

I do not recommend plugging a port on the Turbo. This will result in lower performance at most frequencies, and driver excursion demands will in general be higher too.
