Hi all,
Well, I just received my STF-2 last night and didn't do much placement testing. I was very impressed with how well the sub blended with my Klipsch Quintet SLs. With out seeing the sub, you'd never know where the bass was coming from, so that's perfect.
Right now, it's in the corner of my room with the port facing dead center of the corner. Is there any golden rule on how far it should be from the wall? Or is it better to not have the port facing the corner and rather just the flat wall?
I tried testing the two positions, but when I sit back down in the listening area, I can't tell a difference.
Thanks,
Josh
