I got my vt-12/stf-2 package last week. I've hooked it up to the yamaha rx-v650 receiver. So far I'm very impressed with the speakers. However, I have a concern with the automatic setup of the yamaha receiver. It seems to have set the parameters of other speakers OK, however, it has set the LFE to "both" (meaning LFE is sent to front speakers and the subwoofer) and crossover to 160. I can override this setting, but don't know if that will degrade the quality of music. Can someone suggest if I should change the crossover to the recommended 80 hz and have the LFE sent only to sub.
