buzz on VTF-2

Hello,

I just received the VTF-2 and overall it's great. There is one item I noticed that am not sure if it's normal or not. I have a DD receiver so I am using the sub out with a single cable connected to the VTF-2. Since it has an internal crossover, I was setting the Crossover to Out. In doing so, I noticed a medium sounding hum. It's not terribly loud but I noticed the hum wasn't there when the crossover is in the IN position. Is this normal? Again, curious why it's there in one position vs another.

The included ground cheater should remove the hum.

Since you are using DD, the crossover should be out. All the crossover functions are handled by the Receiver.
