GREAT NEWS!
In an email that Dr. Hsu sent me last night, he said the TN1220 HO would be revived this fall!
He said due to lots of requests from customers, it would be brought back this fall and have an improved woofer to boot. No other details were given.
Just thought you all might be interested in this.

Are you serious, or just pulling our leg? :D

Good News. :D One of the biggest Audio mistakes I ever made was getting rid of my TN1220HO.

Only the good Dr can clear this up.
I do know that they did have some sort of supply problems with the TN.
That may have prompted its semi-demise.

Power to the people if its got a new lease of life. Its still is one of the very best sounding subwoofers that I have ever owned.

I hope the 1220 comes back.

If it comes back, hopefully it will be in a new form, TN-X, with variable tuning and ability to be mounted so that it is not top heavy.

I think people are looking for something new and refreshed from Dr. Hsu. If he builds it, it will sell for sure. The TN-X would also have some important advantages in design over some other competing cylinders, those of which I will not get into at this time ;)

To Dr. Hsu, Peter, or Sasha:
Can one of you guys please confirm on this forum that the TN1220 HO is indeed coming back this fall with an improved woofer, and can you all give us some more details on it, and on any improvements that it will have over the older ones.
Thanks a million,
Lanny

I wouldn't be surpised if it's true- at least I sure hope so! :D Perhaps Dr Hsu didn't realize there'd be such a backlash, but I commend him on listening to "the faithful!" :)

Dear all,

The TN will be revived, to be better than ever.

Thank you for all the positive feedback on this matter. More details will come throughout the course of the year.

Sincerely,
