Folks,

I don't know if you guys know about this. But you could sign up as free member into the web site by just providing an e-mail address and password and you'll be able to download from now on and every month to come the entire electronic magazine to read. I do really mean a full version of the magazine.

Just check it out yourself in link below and check "I just want a free membership for now":

http://www.avguide.com/offers/membership.jsp

For something which is free, it may have information you're looking for. Besides, AVguide Monthly is also an electronic magazine from Absolute Multimedia which are publishers of The Absolute Sound and The Perfect Vision.

You could get the Premiere membership but with a cost to get back issues and other interested stuffs.

Just downloaded the April/May 2005 Issue 14 where details are in below link:

http://www.avguide.com/AVG_monthly/index.jsp

Important: Every month you'll receive by mail to download the free issue, but if you forgot to download them for a period of a month, they'll place it in archives as back issue which will be costly as $6 each.

Somehow, I found this contradictory to what is on their site as " Just subscribe to AVguide Monthly (12 issues for $14.95—more than half off the normal rate)" but instead it is really FREE!

Happy reading!

Just enjoy!

I don't think you really have to subscribe to get their e-rag. You just have to know where to download it from. I remember when I missed one month and went to see if it is there just by changing the issue number from 14 to 12 (or something like that), and it found the file and downloaded it.

But if you subscribe, it allows you to know when the new issues arrive.

I'm not sure you can do this now unless you show me otherwise. It seems they have changed the new server in the link since it does not point to right url anymore, at least for older copies. The subscription is safe as you don't need credit card.

You want to check out the nice picture of the KEF system!
