VTF-1 "preferred" to VTF-2.3 for 15'x15' room?

These don't have a big difference in cost, so just wondering, is there any good reason other than cost not to get the VTF-2 with its superior range?

If you have the space and don't mind bigger footprint, do yourself a favor and buy the biggest sub you can afford. In this case, it would be the VTF-2 Mk. 3. It gives you more headroom, more output, and lower extension.
