OK I have my receiver set at 80 cutoff with the volume level at about 1 quarter on the sub and sometimes my sub falls asleep.. I have tried setting sub decibal level higher. Should i set the crossover at the receiver perhaps at 90.. Im using a yamaha rxv1400 with Paradighm mino monitors.. where shoudl i set the cross over at 80 and whats the best way to not let this sub fall asleep.. this sub is connected with a coaxial cable using y adapto to both inputs

Turn up the sub on the reciever and turn down the volume on the sub itself to compensate. This will give a stronger signal to the sub and will keep it on.

I would leave the crossover at 80.
