I have been DIYing speakers for 50 years and I intensly dislike vented subs , far prefering the musicality of sealed. While auditioning the HSU subs for my brother in ST Louis, (which i recomended and he bought ) I ran across the ASW1202 driver ! Now! this was interesting ! Recomended for sealed , I bought 2 and the pllxo speaker level XO with EQ and headed home. I had two 1.4 '3 ebclosures containing 10"ers and litterally stuffed the 12 into those cabs I had a second amp so in 1 day the project was complete ! They are incredible! Flat, smooth, mudical, im an acoustical nusic freek , they match seamlessly with the FR Jordans i pair them with ! how flat? @ Dr Brice Edgars shop on his LMS compiter , in room @1 meter , they are +,-, ONE db 100(the top limit of the HSU plate amp) to 30HZ and down 4 DB @ 20 Hz. ! Dr.HSUsEQ is dead on ! I give these sealed subs my highest recomendation . They can be put in sealed tubes , if u see fit . regards. Seaton

Thanks for verifying it! We use similar design principles in our TN and VTF drivers as well.
