The MTX Audio Jackhammer subwoofer driver was featured on MTV Pimp My Ride. This woofer is 23" wide, 22" tall, and weighs 320 pounds. It was the world's first Jackhammer installed in a car. They had to literally rip out the entire backseat in order to fit the woofer in the car (a Buick Century), and hooked up 8500w of amplifier in order to power the woofer.

Here is a pic of the driver:

I hate pimp my ride and normally don’t watch it because they disgrace vehicles. But I did see this one. That sub is INSANE but also ridiculously impractical. I mean they needed to use a lift to install it! Not only that but adding 600 + pounds (including box, amps batteries) to a car is not exactly great for performance or the cars suspension for that matter. I doubt many people besides rappers with hummers will be actually installing these. But I can’t help to wonder what it sounds like, it must be insanely loud and capable of some serious SPL levels, but I doubt it is very accurate, it is hard to imagine a driver that massive having sound quality.
