Any luck with thest mounts. My Enthusiast 2 package arrived today. I was planning on using these mounts for the rear surounds. I noticed that the HB-1 is rounded off on the bottom sides. How well will this mount hold with the rounded bottom.

I'm trying to go with a wall mount since I have "Large tile" floors that have an uneven surface. I also have 3 kids running around and am afraid that they will Knock over a stand and bust my speaker.

They're working really well. Very strong and easy to install:

That looks great! I've been looking to get one for my surrounds as well. Did you have to drill the hole on the bottom of the speaker mount of keep the HB-1 from falling forward? I would rather not drill anything to the speakers if possible. That has been one factor that has been keeping me from buying one. I would appreciate your thoughts since you are using it. Thanks.

The speakers fit nice and snug un the clamps I've put pressure on my speakers and haven't felt any slack in the grip of the mount. That being said, I don't have the speakers angled down so I didn't put the screws in and feel comfortable with that. However, if I did angle the speakers down 7 degrees, I would be worried about the vibretion causing them to become loose and would use the screws.

Yeah, that was what i worried about. However, I heard others comment the grip is strong enough to hold it angling down a bit. Normally, surround speakers should be 2-3 feet above ear level and thus would be best to angle down to ear level. I guess I need to research some more before making the purchase.
