One more question before ordering STF-3/VT-12

I am very close to ordering an STF-3/VT-12 combo but was wondering if any one had experience with running a similar setup on a Sony receiver. I currently own a Sony STR-DE545. It seems like most people running HSU are running Onkyo but I would like to avoid purchasing a new receiver if possible.



Will my STR-DE545 work well with a STF-3 / VT-12 combo?

You will be ok with the Sony receiver.The only draw back will be the crossover selection.I believe the lowest the Sony will go is 100hz.I had a Technics with the same crossover setting and it still sounded good to me.
