Here's a simple Excel sheet I quickly threw together to tweak the crossover and gain settings on my STF-2 subwoofer.

To use it, enter you RadioShack readings into the "SPL Reading" column. I used the test tones downloaded from this site under /mp3

The spreadsheet has the SPL reading correction values factored in and graphs the resulting response (although not a real curve). I used in on my laptop while taking the SPL readings. It's helped me tweak my sub settings (which is about +2dbs hot but pretty flat--nonetheless).

I hope this helps out some of you folks out there.

Thanks! It looks better than the one I did and I like the graph.

Thanks!

I'm going to revise it and allow multiple columns for entry and have the different column appear as different columns. This will allow me to compare different settings (like having the crossover set to IN versus OUT and such). I'll post it soon.

If you have any suggestions, I'd be happy to incorporate them into it.

If you could help me move my VTF-3R around to different positions so I can take multiple readings, that would help!!! Still looking for perfection!
