Hello.
My speakers are about 5-6 feet apart in front of me. I am about 7-8 feet away from them. It's setup like a triangle. I sit in a chair 1 foot away from my sub, my sub is on my side.
Do I put phase at 0 or 180?
Thanks. :)

Go with the phase switch set to 0.You can also try it in the 180 position and see how it sounds, but I have always set mine to 0.

Some of the set-up discs will help set the phase. With low frequencies, the setting with the loudest sound is usually the proper setting for the phase. Experiment!

I played around with it with some bassy Massive Attack music. Movie explosions and such didn't really give me an idea, but the music made it obvious that volume @ 9:00 and phase @ 180 sounds right. Makes sense since the sub is on the opposite side of the room from the speakers I guess. I always like to run the volume a bit low since we tend to put it 3-6 dB louder natrually without an SPL meter.

Thasp - it sounds like you managed to find a good setting without much trouble. For reference, here's a look at what proper and improper phase setting did to response in my room:

It can trash the response in the crossover region. Mine is an extreme example as one setting worked perfectly and the other was the worst possible scenario. The reality is that many people will have less of a black and white difference between settings.
