Just got my b-stock VTF2. I will be running the MCACC setup on my 45TX soon and I'm wondering what volume setting to put on the sub.
I read in some AVS forum threads to dial it to 9 o'clock, some say 12 o'clock.
Suggestions?

You should set up the sub where MCACC sets it up on the receiver pretty close to 0db.

I think the question is: Before running MCACC (which adjusts the receiver output setting for the sub, how should the gain control on the subwoofer amplifier be set?

Understood.
I would start at the 3:00 position, run MCACC, and then see where the sub level is set. If it is between 5 and -5 db....I think it is fine. If not, re-adjust the gain on the sub and run MCACC again.
