Has any of you tried connecting your center speaker via high-level input through your subwoofer? I've always found my center lacking bass output when I only connect the subwoofer through the lfe output of my receiver. So last night I tried connecting the center output from my receiver to the high level input of my VTF-3 MK2, and routed the subwoofer output to my center speaker input, while still having my subwoofer connected to my receiver's lfe output. The difference is very noticeable and I like the result alot. I'm just wondering if this might cause problem to my receiver or subwoofer over the long term.

Thanks

This is the way recommended by Magnepan to alleviate the bass on their bass super shy MGCC1 speakers, which is basically to use the sub's speaker level input to augment the center speaker (not using speaker out of the sub, but direct from the amp, but it is basically the same thing).

You would have to set the crossover to "in" and set the xo to wherever your center rolls off, which might cause a negative effect if they go below 80hz. There were no issues with maggies because they rolled off at 160hz (not do-able with Hsu's current sub's 90hz cutoff freq).
