Not sure this has been posted yet, has been away for a while!

Not sure if the number means the order they are selected. But as top 10 picks, HSU Research Powered Subwoofers are among the top 10 contenders.

And I'm not surprised! But also that we are not even dealing with HSU VTF-HO products!

I hope this is one of those "in no particular order" picks, because there is absolutely no way I would pick Klipsch subwoofers ahead of Hsu, SVS, Velodyne, Outlaw, or even PSB. All it takes is to take a listen to the 15" Klipsch from the Reference line, pretty loud, but not a lot of extension for a subwoofer that size. Klipsch subs have decent output, but do not have significant bass extension. IMO, Klipsch (along with Polk...) should be at the bottom of that list...

I checked it out and it looks to be in random order.

I think so unless it is mentionned.

The definition of top ten can be found in below link and as usual it should be counted down from 10 to 1. But it is not applicable for the guide picks!

This is quite an honor
Even after all these years and released models its relentless how great talent rises to the top.

Good to see Dr Hsu is still picking up kludo's for his ingeneous talent in subwoofer design.

Best of all unlike many direct competing subwoofers ....
His designs not only can recreate explosions and special effects [with the best of them] ....
*But* the real winner is that they will not get in the way of your favorite music.

To top all the design talent ...... Dr Hsu is still a humble down to earth guy who still finds time for his customers.

Sure makes a nice change from other manufacturers hyperbole generation that seems to flood the internet forums nowdays.
