Welcome! Looks like you may also have Polk speakers. I've got two HSU subs with all my other speakers bring Polk. Both Polk and HSU forums have been a great deal of help in getting the most out of my system.

Yes I've owned these big boys since 1988, the SDS SRS1.2's. I really like the way the HSU integrates into their sound. The Polks have a solid 20 - 25 htz bottom end but the HSU just adds that extra tactil feel way down low. I cross the sub over at 35 htz in max output mode. I listen to jazz and pipe organ music mostly, as well anything that's well recorded.

The Polk forum guys insist I don't need/shouldn't have a sub with these speakers but they are just wrong.
