TN1225HO into STF1

i am selling my TN1225HO and am probably getting the STF-1 to replace it. i've have been very happy with the TN, but i've moved recently and the new room will not accomodate a discreet location (wife's aesthetics). due to it's small size, the STF-1 will pass muster with the boss - but will it pass muster with me?

any comments on performance comparison from those that may have done the same?

also, is there any recommendations on the best method for selling my TN1225? i currently have it on craigslist in Vancouver for a local purchase, but may find myself putting on ebay if i don't get any serious bites.

If relatively small size is important, then STF-1 is a good choice. However, I would not expect it to outperform a TN1225HO, at least not in terms of maximum output or maximum extension levels. The nice thing about the STF-1 is that shipping cost is very low, so opportunity cost to try it out is very low too.

Audiogon.com is a good place to sell used equipment.

thanks for the reply, peter. now that i see the STF1 is in stock, i will probably order one.

as for selling the big boy, i may just do ebay... patience is not much in my blood.
