I'm moving into a new house soon and would appreciate some advice on HT setup and speakers. I have prewired my living room for 7.1 speaker setup.
The room size is 18' x 15'. One of the walls in the room is open, so that makes it tricky for the left surround speaker placement. On the opposite wall, there are tall windows so the right surround speaker will have to be placed high. I know it's hard to visualize so I've annotated some pictures of the room with the desired speaker locations.

I would prefer to use in wall speakers, and noticed Hsu now has in-wall speakers.
Main use will be for home theater and gaming. Music occasionally, but secondary to the others.
Some questions that come into mind are:
1. Are horn speakers good for this sort of room?
2. Are in-wall horn speakers good for this sort of room?
3. Are horn speakers more directional than speakers with tweeters?
4. Are these good locations for a surround system setup?
5. How would HIW-1 speaker setup compare to something like the SVS SBS-01 speakers?
Any more advice or recommendations are welcome and appreciated.
