I will be getting a pair of 2220's soon & have a double padded berber carpet any ideas on how to weight down the tn-2220's? to keep from falling?.........BP

The spikes actually should work farily well in your carpet. The tip of the spike is meant to penetrate the carpet and rest against the flooring below the carpet surface.

Some people put beanbags inside the tubes to weigh them down.

However, resting the subs on their sides will eliminate all problems. The subs are designed to rest on their sides.
