Can I/Should I place my VTF-3 with driver aiming toward listening space?

I currently have my VTF-3 in the front corner of the room with the woofer firing toward my second couch (not the primary listening position; this couch is rarely used). This is the only spot I can put my sub; I was wondering if I would gain any benefit sonically from turning the sub sideways and having the woofer firing out into the room?

Hi toothboy,

I recommend trying it out both ways. Often it is a matter of preference. Deep bass reproduction shouldn't change much, but you might notice some difference with mid-bass reproduction.
