Just an udate on the subs - Awesome! Pretty big improvement over the 1202s.

I'll integrate 2 more of them into the trunk down the road.

However I wish I bought the 1000/1 instead. I think they can
easily take more juice.

I'll upgrade as soon as I see more then just lint in my packets.

Question: Once you have the enclosure for them, don't you think

that they would sound even better then my custom box? I was

wondering if I should send them back to you guys or if I could

order them without a woofer and have them custom installed for

optimum sound.

What do you think?

Well, I would think that an in car EQ would be a better investment than redoing the install or upgrading to a slightly stiffer enclosure. Each car or truck has its own sonic characteristics, and the it is so easy to get ultra deep bass sometimes there is too much at one frequency or another.

You could also get some 2x4s and make some internal bracing. The enclosure would be much stiffer then.
