Is it possible to mix the 2? I currently have 2 mbm's that take care of 50 +. I also have 2 3.3's...I was considering gettin 2 uls-15's and setting the crossover as low as possible...looks like 30 and setting the 3.3 to 2 ports open. I know it maybe difficult, but is it possible. I guess I may have a jump in spl @ the 30 range. any thoughts or not worth trying?

here is my logic:

(2) mbm-12 @ 50 +
(2) 3.3's 50 down to 25 with 2 ports open. (currently operating with one port blocked)
(2) uls-15's 30 down to whatever it can reach in my room...is it possible to cross it over to 25 and down.

thanks

Hi mrcoop,

I wouldn't bother trying to do this. It would be much more straightforward to either use the two MBM with quad VTF-3 MK3, or use the two MBM with ULS-15 QuadDrive.

Unless you have an active low pass for the 3.3's, it will still try to reproduce anything below the port tuning freq. You will mix the 3.3's chuffing with the ULS's clean bass and make things sound worse.
