I am trying to get a better idea of the bass range I'm lacking most. Could you guys give my an idea of particular scenes that you know are a known hz? Such as Monsters Inc. sock explosion, 20hz-30hz whatever it might be. Others like Witchking battle ball, Revolutions' APU stomp. You get the picture. Or if there is a way for me to find out that's great too. I have a digital RAT shack meter but that's it. Thanks!

This thread is one of my favorites. http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/showthread.php?t=130032&highlight=waterfall It's 18 pages long and has a ton of freq charts of movies and their bass.

A couple of my favorite sub test scenes are:
Matrix Revolutions(machine city speaks, 15Hz)http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/showthread.php?p=1944257&highlight=revolutions#post1944257
Matrix Revolutionss(huge waterball explotion at the end of the moive 15Hz).
Monster's Inc.(sock explotion, bass down to 2Hz:eek: )http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/showthread.php?p=1470543&highlight=sock#post1470543
