I purchased the following components:

1 SPLITTER

1 RCA from recieve to splitter

2 of these, one to each sub.

I get TERRIBLE loud feedback from my subs. Enough that the sub is rumbling the whole house. This is intermittant. As much as a flik from my finger on any of these cables or the splitter causes it. I have to fiddle with them to get it to stop.

Where did I go wrong here? Are these RCA cables just junk? Do I need some kind of special cable to keep this problem from occuring? Do I just need to shell out more cash for more expensive cables?

Have you tried using the wireless? Why do you need the 3 ft cable, and not just hook the splitter directly to your stereo? Have you tried using each sub seperately? You could use just one 12 foot cable and one sub to eliminate things and narrow down what your problem is. Then add things back in to see what the cause is. You might have a bad cable, but I doubt you have all bad cables. I don't recall but do the subs need to have both inputs provided? If so wouldn't you need another splitter at the sub? My first step if I were you would be the wireless. You can use 1 transmitter to run both subs. Just set them to the same channel and would just use your 3' cable and splitter.

Seth,

Have you tried to crimp the connectors? If you can "flick it with your finger to fix it" then hence you have a loose connector.

I have not tried the wireless. I didn't know you could use one trasmitter for both subs. that might eliminate my issue. i think i'll give that a shot tommorrow.

i think these cables are just junk. i can tape or flick any of the connections on any of the cables and the subs act out loudly. sometimes they just go crazy and I just have to play with the cables just about anywhere to make them stop. its very touchy..
