Hello all, new here. I am a 2 channel only enthusiast in search of deep bass. The VTF 3 seems the way to go for me. My current pre-amp is an Audio Horizons with two sets of outs. One is XLR which I utilize for my Prima Luna tube monoblock amps, the other pair is RCA type. Can I use the RCA outs to go to the Sub OR would it be better to run the sub using the speaker wires that go to my main speakers? I'm confused on this point. PROS/CONS. Any help is appreciated. Thank you-Steve

I would first try hooking the sub up through the RCA outs. Taht way you could still run your mains full range and without adding anything else in the signal path and just use the sub's crossover to match them.
But I know after I say this, someone else will tell me I am wrong.......

That's what I was thinking, using the RCA's outs first. I will try this. Thank you
