I was testing the levels of my VTF-3. My amplifier has a limiter and as I was testing the volume to set the limiter - the subwoofer was running properly at ever higher volume and then suddently it start playing very very low. I turned everything off (receiver, subwoofer), I turned it on again but the the subwoofer continues to play very low : I noticed the cone barely moves even at pretty decent volume.
I turned over the box and my impression is that the cone is not in the correct position, I see the center of the cone concave rather than convex (i.e. it faces inward rather than outward).

Is the cone damaged, can it be reset if that the case or is something else going on?

Dear vecchiae,

Would it be possible for you to take any pictures of what you are seeing? Also, feel free to email techsupport in the meantime.

Sincerely,

The cone is supposed to be concave for the HSU subs as far as I know. Mine is that way and all the pics from HSU subs I have seen have been concave.
