Hi, my setup consists of a DTS-ES capable Yamaha receiver, and S-Series JBLs all the way around for speakers, and a VTF-2 for a sub. Now my question is, i want to put a rear center, would it be good for me just to buy another center channel and put it in the rear, or buy matching surrounds (JBL S36II's) and then wire them in a series for the rear center, utilizing 2 speakers for the rear center? or just simply use one of the two JBL S36II's for a rear center?

Since the rear surround is playing nothing more that a little ambiance and the occasional sound effect, it is not critical to have very powerful rear surround speakers. A single speaker for the 6th channel will work fine.
