399 vtf 1?

im looking at either the svs pb-10 nsd or hsu vtf-1 for a ht set up. ( well prob 80% ht 20% music) any input bewteen these two selections? and when i click on the vtf-1 that says on sale for 399 it comes up in the shopping cart for 449??? does anybody have any input on the sub interconnect sold here as well? thanks for any input.

another question. i will have to place the sub close to a wall that the ports will be facing, how much space is needed between the ports and the wall?

Pete has recommended (http://forum.hsuresearch.com/showthread.php?p=29809#post29809) at least 3" between port and wall.

When not using the Turbo I have had my VFT-3's rear ports as close as 8" from a wall and have not noticed any difference in output or performance in my room compared to when the ports were facing into open space with the sub facing sideways.
