VTF-3 Supercharger? What ever happened to this idea?

Now that it seems that the Turbo option is gone I remember speculation about some sort of 'SuperCharger' addon for the VTF-3 that was supposed to be an additional enclosure coupled to the rear ports. Is that still in the works or did any new Turbo (Super) Charger idea get dropped...?

The SuperCharger is still something that we may try out, but not sure that it will happen anytime soon.

Given the ULS-15 is a closed system, what kind of expansion could there be for that sub, besides adding more units?
