Need to upgrade my sub in the basement - recommendations

Ladies,

I am in the market to upgrade my sub for the basement home theater system. I am running a Sony HD projector, Yamaha RZ-V1 receiver, Infinity Overtures 3 for main and surround (all these are powered and have a sub in them). Right now I have a Polk audio 10" sub but am not happy with it. I believe HSU will kick butt. My basement is about 1500 Sq feet and the movie watching area is almost 500 feet and is open from two sides.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Budget around $600 - $700.

Bobby, while a VTF-3 Mk3 would fit into your budget, you would still get great results in your room with a VTF-2 Mk3 or even a VTF-1!
