Down firing subs

I did not think about this when I bought my VTF-2 MK3, but my home theater is on my second floor and I was wondering if a down firing sub is a bad idea for a second floor room. Seems like the booming LFE's are being driven into the floor, more so than traditional front firing subs. Are all HSU subs down firing?

Yes the VTF2 MKIII is down firing. If you want a side firing it would be the VTF3 MKIII & HO. You can make the VTF2 a side firing just by turning it on its side.
