VTF-2 ports

I just received VTF-2 in mail and I am simply amazed. I have a newb question, though - does it matter which port I plug with the foam cap? - for max extension

Yes I think there is a difference on your sub. Does it say in the manual?

It doesn't really matter which side of the sub the plug is in.

The only thing to be careful of is that the BASS EXTENSION switch on the rear corresponds to the number of ports open (1 or 0). When switching between modes, just keep the volume of your system down low or turn everything OFF, and you will be fine. :)

Thanks for your response. Also, I really want to commend HSU Research for providing such great products at amazing cost. I look forward to enjoying my new VTF-2 for many years to come.
