I saw pictures of your glass top and I liked it better than any of the other glass tops I've seen pictures of so I was hoping I could get some specifics from you about it.
-What thickness of glass did you buy? 3/16"? 1/8"?
-Did you get tempered glass or regular?
-Does your glass have a tint to it?
-If possible do you happen to know what type of edge you had done on the glass? from the pictures it looks like you have what they call a "flat polished edge".

Hi Davis, I am glad you like the glass I have on my sub! Unfortunately I do not have much info about it as it was purchased as a gift from my GF for Christmas, I mentioned I wanted to dress up my sub with a sheet of glass and she went to some shop and had it cut but I will try to answer best I can.

- It is about a thick as two US Nickels, just slightly thicker actually
-No idea about what type of glass, it was only $35 bucks though so whichever one is cheaper I would assume
-No tint other than the edge looks green like all cut glass
-Sorry again no idea here

I am pissed as someone put a book on top of the glass and it must have had a pebble or sharp small object under it and when they slide it across the surface of the glass it put a nice deep scratch in it, deep enough that I can feel it when I run my fingernail over it. Luckily it’s near the back so it’s harder to see but since that happened I am guessing the glass is not tempered because I believe that makes it stronger and more resistant to this type of thing so I would recommend that. Sorry I could not be more help but let me know if you would like close up pictures of the edges or something like that and I can do that.
