At 6 pm last night, I checked my tracking label for my VTF-3mk3 and it was in town a day earlier than expected and was going to be delivered today. At 9:30 last night while roughing around with my dog, I fell hard on some concrete and broke my ankle. They put a splint on today and while I was away, the sub got delivered.
Of course, I wasn't going to wait to set it up!!! I live in a split level and had to move it down about 8 stairs and across the room. Never really noticed how far this distance was until I was lugging 80 lbs and a dead leg.
But it was worth it! Started calibrating this sub and WOW!!! I love the clarity. As an added bonus, I can start using the sound waves as therapy to help heal my broken bone.
As an aside, is anyone using any new materials (carbon fiber, kevlar, etc) for building of subs?
