Hello all...

I just bought my first VTF-2 MK3 and I love it aside from now having to find rattles within the LR...the springs on my older windows are rattling!

I watch movies mostly with it but still have it at MO since I like to hear most of the bass in media...or should I have it set at ME...will I still get some midbass?

Now I can't wait till this coming week to order the second VTF-2 MK3....both will be up front in opposite corners next to the mains.

I love bass!

Hi Stu, welcome to the forum!

Feel free to experiment with the variable tuning modes. Certainly one will get the most mid-bass punch when running the sub in max output mode, while one will get the most extended bass when running the sub in max extension mode.

Two VTF-2 MK3's will be a blast, trust me on that one :D

Thanks

Sincerely,

I run my VTF-2 MK3 in maximum extension and I don't find the mid-bass lacking. Plus I miss the deep bass when I run it in maximum output.

I run my VTF2.3 in ME mode along with a sealed MBM-12 positioned close by. I'm very pleased with this setup which I've had for a little over a year now.

Rattle hunting is a fun, family thing to do.

My son loves to recreate the T-Rex scene from Jurassic Park by putting a glass of water on the coffee table and making waves in the water. :)
