I am deciding between VTF-2 MK2 and MK3.

My living room layout is below. The ovals at the top are TV and front tower speakers. The ovals at the bottom are couch and chair. On the left side is a sliding door that leads to a small balcony and its mostly windows.

Dimensions are: 15 (L) X 15 (W) X 8 (H)

I am considering placing the sub between the TV and right speaker, upper left corder or between the couch and chair.

Thanks,
--Victor

the 2.3 is the newest and is better than the 2.2. it is also less expensive and considering the benefit of 2.3 v/s 2.2, i would get the 2.3 without question. that is not a large volume room @ under 2500cuft. you don't even need either of these. you could get the stf 3 at max extension mode and save another $200 with the 20% sale. your call. you can't adjust the stf but you will have more than you need for that size room.

Victor, I think the VTF-2 Mk3 should do a great job in that room! If possible, I would try placing the subwoofer in the rear right corner (closest to the chair). However, between the couch and chair might work well too (this will be nearfield positioning too, which means great impact). Experiment with those positions and hopefully you will find one that you prefer.

Sincerely,
