STF-2 For Sale

I am thinking about upgrading to a VTF-2 or VTF-3 to replace my STF-2. If I can find a buyer than I will do the upgrade; if not then the STF-2 is actually pretty good. I am just one of those who can't leave well enough alone. :D

I purchased the STF-2 in December 2008. It is in excellent condition - no scratches or marks, and has not been blasted (I am not a bass freak so the highest the dial has been is 11:00, more often at 10:00). It is sitting on an Auralex Gramma and is in a smoke-free environment.

I don't have the box so will only sell for local pickup. I am in Los Angeles County. $250 and if you want an 8' Blue Jeans LC-1 subwoofer cable that will be another $10. (will not sell the cable without the sub!) Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks!

Try selling it on ebay if you have no luck here. I put my STF2 on ebay, for 250 to buy it right away, and it was sold less than two days later.

Thanks for the tip. Only thing is that since I don't have the box, I don't want to risk shipping something like that in a box not made for the product. Now maybe Pete can chime in on this, but let's say I were to buy another Hsu sub like the VTF2 Mk 3 (which is what I have my eye on) - could that box be used for the STF-2 or is it too different?

I guess I could post it on E-Bay saying local pickup only, too.. well, I am still not decided on whether or not to upgrade. If I can sell the STF-2 I will, but if not, this is still one very nice sub.

It won't be long before someone in your area picks it up. Hsus always sell quickly in the 2nd hand market. The last few (4-5) Hsu subs that i was interested in always got sold to a local buyer. Grrrgh

Thanks.. may I ask what general area you are located, and where did you advertise? I only have this listed on the Hsu and Emotiva forums. I figure if someone was interested in a Hsu sub they would come here to look around first before buying anything.
