TN1220 loose gasket

Pete -- My 1220 has a couple of loose gasket pieces (the "jigsaw" pieces that enclose the driver surround). One piece actually same off the sub during recent transport. Can I simply apply some rubber cement and secure it back in place? And is there any functional purpose to these other than to protect the edge of the surround?

Hi Andy,

That is correct, simply glue the gasket material back on. Performance will not be affected.
