Humming

I have noticed a hum coming from one my VTF3 MKII's but only when there is no signal going though it until it cuts off funny thing is when I flip the switch to 2 ports open it goes away weird I know, have checked everything else cables plugs ect.. anybody got any clue what could be causing it.

Hey Kjohn,

When you hear the humming, if you disconnect the rca cable from the subwoofer amplifier, does the hum go away?

Well it ain't the amp Thanks Pete I unplugged the cable and the hum was gone guess its time to replace my connectors. :eek:

Yeah, I agree Keith! Let us know how everything goes when you swap out the interconnect.
