Questions. What if your receiver only had one input for a subwwoofer. You want to hook up your VTF-3 MK3 and your MBM-12.

1) Do you hook them both up to the same jack using a splitter?

2) If so, how do you set the frequence crossover on the receiver. Wouldn't each have to get set seperately?

1. You use a Y cable to split the signal to both the VTF-3 MK3 and the MBM-12.

2. Then you set your crossover on the receiver to the frequency you want to cross your speakers to the MBM-12.

3. The MBM-12 has a low frequency crossover at 50 Hz so you need to set the Crossover switch on the VTF-3 to "in" and the frequency to 50 Hz.

Your receiver might also have a distance or delay setting for the subwoofer. If they are the same distance from the listening position, the sound will arrive at your ears at the same time. However, if the distance is different you may need to decide how you will compensate. There are some other threads regarding setting your delay.
