Want to add second sub...

I already have the STF-3 and would buy a second but of course they're no longer made and hard to find used. Which model would work best with this sub? I assume the 2.3 or 3.3 in max output mode would equal or better this sub. I'm wanting to add a second because the output varies widely depending on seating position in the room with deep plentiful bass in one area while it's thin & weak in another. I want to even out the response and hope this will do the trick. I probably will have to play with placement a little but should be worth it.

Yep, I think a 2.3/3.3 in max output mode can be a very good match to your STF-3, man...

I'd say that the closest match to what you have is the VTF-2 MK3 running in max output mode.
