Hi all.

I am buying (soon) either the VTF-3 MK2 or LFM-1.
I have done sooo much research, my head is spinning.

Two questions (thanks for any replies in advance):

01.
Any advice on which is the better sub?

02.
Has the VTF-3 MK2 price increased yet?
Is $559 the increased price, or the reduced price?

Tom.

The LFM 1 is more like the STF 3. The VTF 3.2 is more like the LFM 1 plus.

The VTF 3.2 is a better vaule for the money with the current prices. The $559 is with a 20% discount.

Thanks wid.

Delivered to my house:
VTF-3 MK2 $612 (shipping included)
LFM1 Plus $679 (free shipping)
LFM1 $630 (shipping included)

How do the VTF-3 MK2 and the LFM-1 Plus compare?

If you go by the specs they look as if the performance would be very close. So it still looks like the VTF 3.2 would be the better of the deal. Did you know Dr. Hsu was a big part in the development of the Outlaw subs.

I did read some internet info on the fact that Dr. Hsu contributed to the design of both. The VTF port are on the side.. correct? Where as the LFM is on the bottom? I plan on puting my new sub in a corner; somewhat close to both walls. Will this be a problem with either sub?

The ports are on the rear of the VTF 3.2. As long as you can give it a few inches (3) of room you would be good to go.

I have a buddy the will also buy a sub. I can get two LFM1 Plus(s) delivered to my door for $600. So now, price for the LFM1 Plus and the VTF3 mk2 are identical. Given the identical prices..... which is the better sub? (obviously still confused...), Tom.

Flip a coin. You could call Hsu and see if they would give you a package deal

One thing I did notice about the Outlaw. It does not have right and left low level inputs like the VTF 3.
